Montinore is a 585 acre estate
at the northern end of the Willamette Valley appellation. Actually
many vineyards in one, the winery has 261 acres planted in Pinot Noir,
Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Müller-Thurgau and
White Riesling. Most of their vines were planted from 1982 through
1985. The winery sits amidst the vines giving winemaker Jacques Tardy total control over our fruit from beginning to end. Daily access to the vineyard allows him to respond to changing conditions throughout the year. It also allows him to work quickly during crush; Montinore's fruit is picked and processed the same day.
