THE PEOPLE

Ken Wright studied enology and viticulture at University of Davis in California and worked for eight years in California's wine country before moving to Oregon.

Ken's associate Dale West is a personable, knowledgeable, and wine savvy fellow who has worked with Ken Wright since 1990. He is also part owner of the winery. Dale handles marketing and sales for Ken Wright Cellars.

Karen Wright, Ken's wife, is office manager, Mark Gould manages two of the vineyards Ken Wright Cellars leases, and Alberto Alcazar is Ken Wright Cellars' winery and vineyard specialist. Ken's sons are also helping out in the busy seasons, and his older son, Cody, is finishing up at University of Oregon, and seems perhaps headed towards a career in winemaking (if not professional snowboarding).
