Call for Owen Roe & SIneann
Wines
Abbot's
Table, Sinister Hand,
Resonance, Sharecroppers
& O'Reilly's Pinot Noirs
Soon to be Sold out
Five favorites are almost
gone. It's last call for best sellers from
Owen Roe and Sineann. The warehouse is echoing
and we're down to the end of our allocation.
Time to stock up for fall entertaining, holiday
gifts, and cellaring.

Owen
Roe's Abbot's Table Red Wine 2005 $18.89/$20.99
Alas and alack, soon to be sold out, with the
next release in August, 2007.
There's
really nothing else on the market quite like "the
Abbot's". It's a conversation starter.
A blend of eight different grape varietals
offers rich, easy drinking flavors, a super-appealing
scent of raspberries in the nose, hints of
smoke and spice, and that over-the-top lushness
that comes from the Zinfandel in the wine.
The range of grape types keeps the scent
and flavors changing constantly, and it just
wins people over.
Owen
Roe Sinister Hand 05 $21.55/$23.95
Released last month, it's
almost gone, with the next release in September
2007.
An
exhuberant, lush, lively, juicy blend
of Rhone varietals. This year it's 52%
Grenache, 39% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre, and
2% Counoise, all from Elerding Vineyard
in Washington.
Owen
Roe Sharecropper's Pinot noir 05 $18.86/$20.95
Released last month, gone at the winery,
next release September 2007.
BEST BUY! Arguably
Owen Roe's best value in Pinot noir. Big aromatics,
well balanced sweet red fruit, good acidity,
and well integrated tannins. A wonderful value.
This label hearkens to the spirit of the original
sharecropping ideal of a partnership between
landowners and the laborers who toiled producing
the crops. Elsewhere on the web, it's $24. Last
year so many people wanted this wine after it
sold out.
O'Reilly's Pinot noir
05 $14.35/$15.95
Released in June, next release is due in June 2007.
David
describes the wine as "unctuous,
fruity, and full bodied - an indicator of the
2005 vintage. The wine is fruit forward with
a beautiful acidity, a wine that people could
stock up on and put away for everyday drinking
for the next 5-6 years."
Sineann
Resonance Pinot noir 05 $43.16/$47.95
Released
in August, next release approx. August 2007
Peter
says: "Resonance, formerly known as Reed & Reynolds,
produces our best Pinot Noir - one of Oregon's
best Pinot Noirs - every year. 2005 is no exception."

Still in Good Supply
Owen
Roe Zinfandel 05 $32.36/$35.95
Flavors
are of candied red cherry, sweet raspberry,
rich, rich flavors yet uplifted by
a well integrated streak of fresh fruit,
hints of white pepper and spices, and
a long, long finish.
Owen
Roe Ex Umbris Syrah 04 $21.55/$23.95
Aromas of blackberries and marionberries,
entwined with the wine's trademark smoky scent,
make this a Syrah standout from the moment
it's opened.
Owen Roe Yakima red 04 $37.76/$41.95
Customers reorder this wine as much as any
at its price. An Avalon employee favorite,
this is a great gift for impressing friends
or cellaring for 6-8 years.
Sineann
Pinot noirs
Wyeast, Schindler,
and Oregon are still in fairly good supply.

releases- call us for an update
