back of the bottle says: "Here's
to making a disaster of a wine. A gorgeous
red blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Blaufrankish
from the Columbia River Valley -- are you kidding?
Balanced and delicious on its own, it harmonizes
perfectly with food. But of course, this wine
has no chance of success. If any wine was destined
for failure, you surely hold it in your hands
now."
Blaufrankish?
Otherwise known as Lemberger. David always
adds an original twist to his wines, and this
one is no exception. It's a big bold everyday
red that friends and family will grab and greatly
enjoy.

YUMMY! Stomp is a no-nonsense wine--just juicy
dark fruit, deliciously toasty oak, and a remarkably
long finish for a bargain wine. This one will
keep your friends, and pocketbook, happy. Robust,
rolicking, fun big red to drink now, quite the
value for a Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon. Also
contains Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec,
and "something
else", according to the winemaker.

Last call, we found a few more cases. It's
sold out at the winery.
Made from all the "dissident" fruit
that wouldn't "conform" to
Mark's premium red blends. This is a blend
of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, some
from barrels that didn't fit into his premium
wine blends, and some from experimental vineyards
he was testing for future release. Mark says
it's approachable and ready to drink now.
Marcus says: "If
juice like this didn't fit into Mark's premium red blends, you've got
to be excited about the 2004 Long Haul, Dead Horse, and Gun Metal. The
Cabernet/Merlot/Syrah blend is as delicious as any good value I've tasted
