Join us tomorrow (Saturday)
for a tasting of Oregon reds and whites from
rockstar producers. Pinot
noir and Pinot gris from Elk Cove, recent recipient
of Wine Press
Northwest’s “Winery
of the Year,” will be flowing. Their
Pinot is always a great value and the Pinot
gris was on Wine Spectator’s Top 100
last year.
Southern Oregon’s Abacela has blazed
the trail for Spanish-style wines in Oregon. They
are one of the few producers in North America
that craft a beautiful Tempranillo (the most
popular red grape varietal in Spain). As
a complement to the rich, full-bodied Tempranillo,
the Abacela Albarino is an intensely aromatic
white wine that is great match for seafood.
Top it off with A-Z
Wineworks Night & Day,
a value red blend perfect for summer barbeques. Scott
Wiskur from Galaxy Wine Company will be on
hand to pour and tell the story of these wines
and wineries. See you then!
