Owner
Mary Olson and winemaker Suzy Gagné took over Airlie Winery in 1997. Their
newest releases are nothing short of superb, and the prices and availability
are still good. Grab'em before the reviews- this is a winery on the way
up!
Local customers have been telling us about the great
wines at Airlie, a small winery just north of our town of Corvallis, so
we took a new look at what was formerly a winery making simple, grocery
store wines.
Wow, has the wine changed for the better!
Reminds me of the way Elk Cove remade itself over
the last few years, from grocery store to top rated Pinot Noir in Wine
Spectator. Focusing on the production of vintage dated Oregon premium
wines, they are making wines of steadily increasing quality. This is a
winery on the way up, one to watch!
Check out the
Airlie Marechal Foch 98 and the Dunn Vineyard Pinot Noir (exclusively
available at Avalon)
Highly recommended by
Avalon for both quality and great price!
This is the best guide, bar none, to Oregon's
wines. Insightful articles, interesting reviews, in depth interviews- you'll
find them all here. Worth every penny if you're interested in Oregon wine.
