Big talk, and very early in the game, but this is immediately a contender for top 20 Oregon '09 Pinots. Open it on day one and you'll be stoked...drink most of it on day two and you'll find the magic, as the aromas of mixed berry crisp and red licorice whisk you away. Fresh and juicy, sweet and supple, the finish builds depth and hangs around for a remarkably long time. This is one Pinot where it's hard for me to capture my enthusiasm in writing. Taste it you'll see why. (The Cancilla Vineyard replaces the "Reserve" Pinot).

The '08 sold out in a day...will this last as long? Lemon cookies, a little nuttiness, and fresh apricot. A lightly creamy texture works perfectly with the vibrant acidity. The essence of natural winemaking, this underwent a long, slow fermentation - it was bottled a month ago - in 15% new oak. Come over anytime - there'll be a case of this in my cellar as soon as it arrives.

Both wines begin shipping April 1st. They'll be sold out by then. Time to get in on your significant percentage of Haden Fig!
