This is Shea's "basic" wine - this bodes well for their Flagship Pinots.
The "Theo" Release
Roots is the winery of Chris and Hilary Berg. Chris Berg made only a tiny 50 cases each of the Cherry Grove and Apolloni Pinots, 96 cases of the Leroy, and less than 200 of the Estate. A teeny-eeny production of some of the 2008 vintage's best Pinots in any price range.
The "Theo" release? Well, along with their new teeny production wines Chris and Hilary have a teeny new baby! Theo was born this spring, and their happiness adds a special Yowsa! to the wines.
